Abstract

Aphasia, a symptom stemming from various diseases, often presents with hoarseness or loss of voice, significantly impacting patients' quality of life. Acupuncture, a distinctive and highly effective traditional medical therapy, holds promise in addressing numerous ailments. Traditional medicine identifies the root of the disease in the pharynx, where the Lung and Kidney meridians intersect, closely tying it to lung and kidney health. This article presents two cases of aphasia stemming from different causes, successfully treated at Department A10 - Military Institute of Traditional Medicine. It delves into the role of Traditional Medicine in aphasia treatment.
