Abstract
BA14 is an effective remedy that has been used by Department of Andrology - Nephrology - Urology of the Military Institute of Traditional Medicine to treat patients with urinary stones for many years, and needs to be proven effective by basic research. Method: 60 research patients were divided into 2 groups; Research group 30 patients took Drotaverin 40mg x 4 tablets/day combined with BA14, Control group 30 patients took Drotaverin 40mg x 4 tablets/day. Results: The study group had a successful stone expulsion rate of 73.33%, statistically significantly higher than the control group of 53.33%. The effect of BA14 remedy on urine pH is not clear and needs to be further researched.
